Your Instructor: Jay Patel
Jay is a 25+ year veteran of the real estate industry and experienced in many facets of the space including land development, sales & brokerage, multifamily apartments, commercial properties, AirBnbs, Tax Liens and Deeds, PropTech, and many more. His passion however is in rehab flips because of the short-term nature of the transactions which also yield above-average returns, but the most rewarding aspect of flipping is transforming a house from dreadful to beautiful within mere months.
In launching The Film Firm, Jay's primary goal was to scale his successful flipping business into multiple markets across the US. In doing so, also being able to teach his students how to profitably flip properties in their home towns without investing a dime, with Jay as their mentor and The Flip Firm as their financial partner. Now, the entire Flip Firm team is able to do hundreds of deals around the country each year, while teaching so many a new trade and helping them become financially independent.
Jay is a father of three, all young adults in their 20s, and all of whom he has taught and are already building their real estate portfolios. Jay's passions include golf, travel, fitness, trekking, surfing, and many other outdoor activities.
